Dark tones paired with light tones is a trend that never truly dies. The monochromatic look can be incorporated into cabinetry, marble or tiles. The key to pulling this off is by not going overboard. Use darker colours as an accent tone to avoid creating a dull room. Incorporate deeper colours through accessories such as prints, vases, expose dishes or cookware.
